General Trading expanded into the Export arena over 20 years ago. It is currently exporting to parts of Europe, South America, Africa, Bermuda, the Middle East, and the Caribbean Islands. Our main goals are to maximize container loads (we also do less than container loads), minimize costs, and achieve customer satisfaction. GT is an ideal U.S. contact because of its aggressive low prices, its great location (just minutes away from NJ ports), and its incredible ability to customize and adapt to your individual needs. We will allow for the inspection of goods before shipping which is a common customs’ requirement. Also, GT will work with any freight forwarder of choice (we'll even provide you with several shipping quotes) and will floor load or palletize your containers. However, there is a minimum purchase requirement of 250 cases and 5 items. We can fax, email, or overnight your export invoice and any other documents that you may require in any format of your desire. We will also provide you with a discounted list prior to your order so you can take advantage of the manufacturer's weekly deals. Large orders of various items, that quantities are less then 20 cases per item, can be shipped within 2 business days. We will provide proforma quotes or mail you our price book with no obligation. Our regular customers are given access to our FTP site so they can keep up-to-date with sales and all item information or price books are mailed regularly.
